HONG KONG and SINGAPORE, June 19 /Xinhua-PRNewswire/ -- The Air + Ocean business segment of Logwin AG is expanding its airfreight management team in line with the high growth rates in the airfreight sector. The objective is to optimise the procurement processes and the cooperation with core carriers. The international airfreight activities will be brought together and further developed by the newly created position of Director Global Airfreight.

Volker Hoebelt (43) took over the management of the restructured airfreight organisation on 1 April 2008. He is carrying out his role as Director Global Airfreight in addition to his former position as Director Global Sales + Marketing in the Air + Ocean business segment. Logwin has combined two central roles and has placed customer proximity and the service requirements of the company even more in the forefront of operations. By creating this dual function Logwin is demonstrating the lean management structure of the company.
