Paradijs Joins Impressive Line-up of Industry Experts Confirmed for the Amsterdam Event

BRUSSELS, May 6, 2011 /PRNewswire-Asia/ -- RISI and the International Forest Products Transport Association (IFPTA) today announced that Sjuul Paradijs, Editor in Chief of De Telegraaf, would deliver the keynote address as part of the PPI Transport Symposium 19 conference program.  The conference program, to be held October 11-14, 2011 in Amsterdam, titled "Growth and Sustainability:  Meeting the Challenges of the Forest Products Industry" will feature Paradijs and other industry experts talking about how companies can continue to improve their position and achieve breakthroughs.

The PPI TS19 conference program will address the challenges and opportunities for the forest products logistics industry as it prepares to emerge from the global recession.  Conference sessions will include an industry outlook and forecast, a panel of global paper and pulp producers, and a discussion on the potential from biomass & biofuels. In addition, the Confederation of European Paper Industries (CEPI) will organize two (2) sessions on transportation and sustainability issues as part of the event.
