HONG KONG, Nov. 12, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Tonly Electronics Holdings Limited ("Tonly Electronics" or "the Group"; SEHK stock code: 01249) has been committed to improving its corporate transparency and maintaining good investor relations since its listing in August 2013. As a result, the Group has decided to disclose its unaudited monthly sales revenue from now on in order to keep investors posted of its latest developments timely and enhance its transparency.
The unaudited sales revenue for video products rose by 40.6% year-on-year to HK$224.0 million in October 2013, while that for the first ten months of 2013 decreased by 10.6% year-on-year to HK$1,816.3 million.
The unaudited sales revenue for audio products surged by 207.3% year-on-year to HK$294.8 million in October 2013 and that for the first ten months of 2013 increased by 112.2% year-on-year to HK$1,367.1 million.
The management holds a view that audio-visual ("AV") products related to mobile smart devices and smart TVs have a huge potential. In response to market demand, the Group will continue to strengthen the product research and innovation, and will gradually develop a diversified product portfolio with audio products and set-top boxes as the focus. Looking ahead, the Group will continue to solidify its leading position in the global AV product market, and will use its vertically-integrated operations to maximize value for its customers and shareholders.
