The European All-in-one Event Designed Exclusively for Architects, Designers and Other Professionals With a Focus on Innovation: "ARCHITECT@WORK" Officially Launches in Shanghai

2012-05-28 10:00 3190

SHANGHAI, May 28, 2012 /PRNewswire-Asia/ -- After more than 20 successful editions throughout Europe, the first-ever edition of ARCHITECT@WORK CHINA (SHANGHAI) will take place on September 6 and 7, 2012 at the Shanghai Expo Centre. In only 2 days, visitors will have the opportunity to explore hundreds of innovations and meet high level targeted architects, designers and corporate decision makers in a customized, trendy and relaxed atmosphere.

ARCHITECT@WORK was created by architects for the architect and design community about 10 years ago in Belgium. "As an architect, I'm constantly looking for inspiration through innovations. The existing traditional construction exhibitions could not satisfy me. That is why I and 3 other architects created our own platform. It is focused on innovation and customized for our target audience, all in a relaxing lounge-style atmosphere and an exclusive design concept!" says Frank Sinnaeve, architect and one of the 4 founders of ARCHITECT@WORK.

The focus of this event covers 4 aspects:

  • high quality innovative and creative products selected by a Steering Committee;
  • the constant exchange of technical knowledge, ideas and experiences;
  • matchmaking networking meetings between international and local architects and designers;
  • a concept with uniform booths which increases the number of 'first contacts'.

ARCHITECT@WORK will be hosting professional speakers who will discuss current topics around innovative construction, development of cities, the future of the workplace and creative interiors.

Stay Tuned for the ARCHITECT@WORK NIGHT where we will give awards to innovative projects proposed by the community in China

"ARCHITECT@WORK is where the design world comes together. Two thought provoking days of pure energy, bursting with new thinking, new resources, and new products. I am so passionate about it!" says Miguel Garat, CEO HWSpaces.
