TOKYO, Nov. 2, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- The Asia Fashion Fair (AFF) Tokyo 2018, organized by Chinatex Advertising and Exhibition Co., a subsidiary of Chinatex Corporation, was held at Tokyo Bunka Kaikan, Sunshine City from September 26 to September 28, 2018. With enough space for 562 booths, the show was attended by 479 exhibitors and 4,901 professional buyers, setting a new record since the first AFF. During the event, two delegations, one led by Japan China Economic Relations and Trade Centre chairman and Panasonic chairman Shusaku Nagae and another led by Chinese Embassy in Japan Economic and Commercial Counselor Jing Chunhai, visited the show and stopped by the exhibitors' booths, engaging many of the exhibitors in detailed, in-depth discussions.
In addition to the zones for women's wear, men's wear, garments and undergarments that have been part of the show since the first edition, this year's show added two new exhibition spaces, one for fabrics, accessories and home textiles as well as one for ready-to-wear ODMs. The creativity on behalf of exhibitors that went into the design, setting up and arranging of the booths was duly noted and positively commented on by industry leaders attending the event. As Japan is one of the key markets for Chinese textile firms, AFF, Japan's biggest event for OEMs and ODMs in the textiles and garments industry, is playing an increasingly important role in promoting cooperation between the two countries.
The 2nd AFF SELECTION is scheduled to be held at Tokyo International Forum from March 6 to March 7, 2018, followed by the AFF Osaka 2019 to take place at Mydome Osaka from April 9 to April 11, 2019.
