BEIJING, Oct. 23, 2012/PRNewswire/ -- Wolters Kluwer, a market-leading global information services company, today launched its vertical database CCH China Tax & Accounting Reference, creating value for professionals and helping them maximize benefits through enhanced efficiency. In the tax and accounting market, Wolters Kluwer serves professionals in China under the flagship brand name of CCH.

The comprehensive new database is a searchable portfolio of more than 240,000 entries of Chinese laws and regulations covering fields such as tax, accounting, auditing, internal control, risk management, customs, finance, industry and commerce, listing, trade and valuation. It is organized to align with the duties and daily work of tax and accounting professionals, and it is enriched by cross references to relevant news, analytical articles, practice guides and journals, so that users can understand, analyze and use any law from different sources.

In an effort to meet China’s ever-increasing demands for professional information, CCH worked together with top experts at home and abroad to deliver this authoritative collection of in-depth interpretations and practice guidance, the latter being the most authoritative in the recent two decades. A multitude of articles contained are exclusive or launched for the first time, and they all can be searched online.

“China Tax & Accounting Reference can meet the needs for search, practice, academic research and foreign exchanges of governments, research institutions, law firms, accounting firms, businesses, higher learning institutions and individuals engaged in tax, accounting and law practices,” said Dr. Li Jiang, Product and Technology Director of CCH Greater China.

The database’s first users in the mainland include leaders such as KPMG China, China National Offshore Oil Corporation (CNOOC) China, Ltd., and Alstom (China) Investment Co., Ltd.

The finance management department of CNOOC pointed out, “As our business expands in recent years, we need to be more powerfully equipped in width and depth with professional information so as to be more responsive to changes, while the database from CCH provides us timely and convenient service in this regard.”

“We are very glad to see that apart from accounting firms, market-leading professional service institutions, world top 500 businesses and large state-owned enterprises are also on our first-batch customer list, which testifies to the wide adaptability of our database series,” said Li Jiang.

As the leading brand of Wolters Kluwer in tax and accounting, laws and regulations, and human resources, CCH has grown to be a world icon of professional information in these fields, said Philip Zhao, General Manager of CCH Greater China. CCH products in tax, accounting and law are offered through online systems and software tools, the Internet, mobile devices and print.
