CHONGQING, China, June 11, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- The 2014 Environmental Knowledge Contest for Primary and Middle School Students in Chongqing, which lasted for two months, has come to an ending on World Environment Day, June 5 2014. As the only foreign company sponsor to this event, Mr. C.J Phua, GM of AT&S China, was honorably invited to the Final that was held at Chongqing Broadcasting & Television Center and presented awards to the representatives of the little journalists that sprung up in this activity. Around 500 audiences including officials from Propaganda Department of Chongqing Municipal Party Committee, Chongqing Environment Protection Bureau, Chongqing Education Commission, experts from the fields of education and environment protection, and personages from media and various circles watched the contest on the spot.
This is the first time that AT&S Chongqing co-sponsored with Chongqing Environment Protection Bureau on the activity associated with Youth Environmental Publicity and Education. The Final was live recorded all the way by Chongqing TV, and this program will be broadcasted at 20:45 on 11th and 18th June on Chongqing Children's Channel.
