BEIJING, Feb. 4 /Xinhua-PRNewswire/ -- VanceInfo Technologies Inc.

(NYSE: VIT) ("VanceInfo" or the "Company"), an IT service provider and one of the leading offshore software development companies in China, today announced that it has been named to the Global Services 100 list by Global Services and neoIT.

The Global Services 100, now in its fourth year, is a tool for buyers of business and technology services. Professionals from Global Services magazine and neoIT, a consulting firm that specializes in services globalization, selected the winners from hundreds of IT and BPO service providers from 17 countries, with delivery centers across 31 countries. A weighted scoring scheme, designed by a panel from Global Services and neoIT, was used to rate responses from the service providers regarding four broad groups of questions: size, customers, skills and others. The list represents companies that they believe have the maturity and capability to lead the next wave of services globalization.

Chris Shuning Chen, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of VanceInfo, commented, “We are pleased to be recognized in the Global Services 100, following our tremendous expansion in the past several years. Our strong service capabilities and highly skilled team have helped to strengthen client relationships and to fuel our rapid growth. Our recent IPO on the New York Stock Exchange further enhanced our brand awareness. We believe these qualities helped our recognition in the Global Services 100. We look forward to sustained strong growth, driven by high demand from continued expansion of our multinational clients into the Chinese market and from our enhanced capabilities to better serve clients around the world.”
