Content We Love: Jiuzhaigou Offers a Multifaceted Look at a National Treasure
Jiuzhaigou, a splendid valley of breathtakingly prismatic lakes in China’s Sichuan Province, is on the bucket list of Chinese and foreign tourist alike, but this World Natural Heritage site is just far enough off the beaten path to require a little more time investment than a weekend getaway might allow. That’s part of why we’re choosing Jiuzhai Valley National Park‘s recent multimedia news release (or MNR) among the first to earn PRN Asia’s stamp of approval for “Content We Love” because it does inspire one to drop everything, even in the dead of winter, for a Sichuan adventure.
China has 55 officially recognized ethnic minorities, several prominent groups of which live in Sichuan, and the video captures the ever-mesmerizing long-sleeved dances unique to Tibetans, who account for a significant population in the province.
Lingering shots of the park’s famed waterfall simultaneously frozen into rivulets yet still flowing, while traditional Tibetan prayer flags flutter in the air, offer a glimpse of what the park has to offer in serenity and natural beauty.
We often send out releases for China clients hoping to reach an international audience, but what we love to see are MNRs like this one that actively seek to engage with overseas audiences through visually engaging content. Kudos to Jiuzhaogou Valley National Park, and we hope to see the park continue to lead by example with dynamic releases!
